  • TRANQUILISS DROPS is indicated as a tranquilizer for the control of restless or aggressive animals during non-invasive procedures such as clinical examinations, radiographs, treatments, transport, or in response to any exciting stimulus. It acts as a pre-anesthetic agent in combination with other medications and as an antiemetic, controlling vomiting associated with motion sickness.
  • Composition : Each 1 mL contains:
    • Acepromazine maleate…………………..10 mg
    • Excipients csp …………………………………. 1mL 
  • Route of administration : Orally.
  • Dosage :Canines and felines: 2 to 4 drops/kg of body weight (equivalent to 1-2 mg/kg of body weight of acepromazine maleate).
    Note: Each drop contains approximately 0.5 mg of the active ingredient (20 drops are equivalent to approximately 1 mL).

    • Repeat the dose after 6 to 8 hours to maintain the state of tranquilizing sedation, after evaluation and indication by the Veterinarian.
    • In dogs of giant breeds, brachycephalic breeds, Greyhounds and Boxers use at a dose of 1 drop/kg of body weight (equivalent to 0.5 mg/kg of acepromazine maleate).
