Description

• Anesthetics Solution for injection .
• Composition: Medetomidine hydrochloride,1 mg/ml
• Indications in Dogs : Sedation in order to facilitate the restraint of animals during clinical examinations.
  Premedication prior to general anaesthesia.
• Dosage & administration – Dogs :

  IV or IM.
  For sedation: 10 – 80 µg medetomidine hydrochloride/kg b.w. (corresponding to 0.1 – 0.8 ml/10 kg b.w.).
  For premedication: 10 – 40 μg medetomidine hydrochloride/kg b.w. (corresponding to 0.1 – 0.4 ml/10 kg b.w.).

• Indications in Cats: Sedation in order to facilitate the restraint of animals during clinical examinations.
  Premedication prior to general anaesthesia.
• Dosage & administration – Cats: 

IV, IM or SC.
For sedation: 50 – 150 μg medetomidine hydrochloride/kg b.w. (corresponding to 0.05 – 0.15 ml/kg b.w.).
For premedication for anaesthesia: 80 μg medetomidine hydrochloride/kg b.w. (corresponding to 0.08 ml/kg b.w.).
